Privacy policy
This policy explains what Ebitta (ebitta.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. Ebitta is operated by its owner in India.
What we collect
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture, as shared by Google when you choose to sign in. We request only these basic profile details, never access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data. They are kept in your signed session cookie, and the email address and time of each sign-in are recorded in a security log.
- Automatic sign-in: if you are signed in to Google, Ebitta may offer Google's one-tap "Continue as …" prompt, and a browser that signed in before is signed back in automatically. Signing out of Ebitta turns this off in that browser.
- What you save: your watchlist, list filters and display preferences are stored in your own browser. If saving them to your account across devices is added later, this policy will be updated first.
- Session cookies: a cookie that keeps your session and protects Ebitta's data from automated scraping. It is required for the site to work and is not used for advertising.
- Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that requests come from a real browser. Cloudflare processes technical signals for this purpose.
- Security logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and time of request to deliver and protect the site.
You never need to sign in to read Ebitta.
How we use it
Only to provide Ebitta: to sign you in, keep your saved items, protect the service from abuse and keep it running. We do not sell your data, show advertising or use advertising trackers.
Analytics
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page speed for every visit. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Google Analytics measures which screens are used. It sets analytics cookies, with IP addresses anonymised and advertising features off. You can turn it off for your browser with "Turn off Google Analytics" in the footer.
Where it is stored
Ebitta runs on Cloudflare's network. Account data is stored in Cloudflare's databases and may be processed in data centres outside India.
How long we keep it
Sign-in records are kept while needed to secure the service. Cloudflare's own request logs are kept only as long as Cloudflare retains them for operation and security.
Your choices
- You can use Ebitta without signing in.
- You can ask for a copy of your account data, or for your account and its data to be deleted, by writing to privacy@ebitta.com. We respond within 30 days.
- You can remove Ebitta's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Market data
Prices and corporate-action information come from public files published by NSE and BSE. Ebitta does not collect financial information about you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
